FISHING REPORT July 7, 2008
Lots of Shark activity and very little
else. Sharks ranging from 10-100lbs have been keeping us busy this past
week and a few other species such as Jacks, Reds and some light-tackle
fish have been showing up in the nearshore waters. These other fish have
been very inconsistent and are only being hooked-up during certain tides
at certain areas. The Tarpon have not shown themselves on the South end
of the island yet, but guides and area fisherman are optimistic that
they will arrive in force over the next week or so. It is what it is. At
least Mighty Mako anglers are staying busy and keeping the rods bent.
Hopefully this coming week provides me with a great fishn report next
time.
Hopefully, you will experience the thrill of a
life time (or an enjoyable day among friends and family) when you fish aboard the Mighty Mako in
2008.
